The Forest Sisters manor is the result of a long and painstaking reconstruction of the house, which was built in 1936 by the carpenter Antanas Padaigas from the village of Padaigai. Non-standard materials were used to restore the house – a mixture of clay and sand.
Most of the details of the house are almost 100 years old. In the house you will see an old oven where bread was baked, doors and other elements of the old way of life. On the second floor there is a sleeping area, where, going out to the balcony, an amazing view of the Neris and the pine forest opens; and in the barn next to it there are cozy guest rooms and a library.
The homestead is located at the confluence of the Neris and Sventoji rivers. This region stands out for its rugged terrain. Hills give way to valleys and swamps, where traces of human activity are practically invisible. Although the path to the estate is not short, the journey through the centuries-old forests will be very exciting.
The uniqueness of the estate is its tranquility, exceptional nature and architecture, filled with antiquity and modern conveniences.
