How pleasant it is to hear the buzzing of a peaceful bee in the apiary. Get to know the life of bees, learn about the benefits of bees, about beekeeping products: honey, bread, pollen, royal jelly, resin and wax.

You will hear fascinating stories and tips from the professional beekeepers Ramunas and Rimtautas. And they really have something to show you and something to teach you. You will return from the estate after tasting delicious pancakes with honey and taking a course on making candles from natural wax.

At the entrance to the estate you will be greeted by Maya the bee. After taking a photo, we will go to the beekeeper’s house and listen to a beautiful story about bees, their benefits, products and care for them. The beekeeper will also talk about fun adventures with bees.

The estate occupies almost 6 hectares and is surrounded by a pond.

It will be interesting for you to see the glass hive, through the walls of which you can secretly observe the life of bees. There is also a beehive where honey flows directly into the jar when you turn the tap. The owners did not forget about the old hives, there is a stump with bees. A separate place is occupied by a relaxation hive with bedrooms.

After getting acquainted with the life of bees, we can move on to practical exercises. One of them is “How to take honey from a bee colony and unscrew the honeycomb”. After completing this task, you can taste fresh honey with cucumbers or pancakes. Honey tasting takes place during the off-season. In the estate you can taste spring, raspberry, forest, linden, rapeseed, buckwheat honey. Participants are introduced to the properties and uses of honey.

The last stage is the production of wax candles. Here, participants are introduced to the properties of wax and are taught how to make candles in an old and modern way. Each participant pours out their candle.

A bee is an indicator of ecology; if bees fly, nature rejoices.
